Program about Muslim market and Islamic economy

BBi Communication participated as an expert organization in the “Executive Course sobre Mercados musulmanes y economía islámica” offered by Blanquerna (Ramón Llull university), this was the second consecutive time BBi had participated. Nina Heindrichs BBi Communications Regional Director talked to the participants about the importance of knowing the local business culture as well as knowing how to adapt to the way of communicating and acting within a specific cultural environment.

With practical examples and real cases of both problems and lost opportunities due to poorly managing cultural differences, Nina explained the cultural characteristics of some Muslims countries. She ended with a business case where she asked to participants to conclude an intercultural negotiation between a Barcelona company and Casablanca based company whose success was compromised by cultural differences.
